Job Title

Travel RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Idaho or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Compliance with all travel contract and facility onboarding requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down environment
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
