Tax Director

We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead tax compliance, preparation, and planning for individual and business clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned public accounting professional with strong technical tax expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Oversee and review complex individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes. Ensure compliance with current federal and state tax laws and regulations. Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff while managing workloads and deadlines. Advise clients on tax matters and respond to tax authority inquiries. Collaborate with accounting teams on integrated client engagements. Identify opportunities to expand client services and strengthen relationships. Drive process improvements and maintain current knowledge of tax regulations and industry practices. Qualifications Active CPA license required . Several years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of tax compliance, preparation, planning, and federal and state tax laws. Solid accounting skills and the ability to interpret financial statements. Experience with tax preparation and accounting software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong communication and client relationship management abilities. A master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting, or additional tax certifications, is a plus. Teksky LLC
