As a Security Officer Full Time Building Patrol in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and contribute to a welcoming campus environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns through established communication and reporting procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and campus stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
