Scrum Master

Salary: $95,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 5 years of Scrum Master experience.
• We require Scrum Master certification.
• We require experience with change management.
• We prefer experience identifying and building KPIs to measure program performance.
• We prefer experience using agile tracking tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• We prefer experience creating and maintaining product timelines, status reports, communication plans, and other product management documentation.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

• We guide teams and the organization using Agile and Scrum best practices, methodologies, and values.
• We assess team and organizational Scrum maturity and coach toward higher maturity in a sustainable way.
• We remove impediments or help the team clear them.
• We facilitate work completion rather than assigning or directing tasks.
• We support discussion, decision-making, team building, and conflict resolution.
• We improve internal and external communication, transparency, and information flow.
• We support product managers in maximizing ROI and meeting organizational objectives.
• We coach and educate the Product Owner, including backlog grooming and maintenance.
• We participate in agile delivery using approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and XP.
• We support the team through servant leadership and lead by example.

We are offering a remote Scrum Master opportunity supporting the State of Louisiana, Division of Administration Office of Technology Services (OTS). OTS was created to consolidate state IT assets and resources, driving cost savings and standardization across hardware, operating systems, databases, networks, third-party software, and custom applications. Our team focuses on improving procurement efficiency, operational effectiveness, maintenance, and scalability across the OTS service portfolio. This is a two-year contract with an online interview process and a tentative start date of 10/05/2026.
