Sales & Marketing CoordinatorMcAllen, TXMonday-Friday 8am-5pm$18-$22/hourPosition SummaryThe Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports the company's business development, marketing, trade show, and sales support activities. This role focuses on lead generation, external relationship support, trade show coordination, and proactive sales development efforts.ReportingThis position reports to the President or future delegate. There will also be dotted line reporting to the current Sales Consultant and Administrative Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Opportunity TrackingUse project software and other resources to identify opportunities and contactsMonitor projects involving company products, competitors, and composite materialsRoute project opportunities to appropriate sales representativesMaintain lead and opportunity tracking recordsTerritory & Business Development SupportContact project owners in uncovered territoriesCoordinate lunch & learn presentationsSchedule meetings and presentations for company leadershipSupport proactive outreach activitiesRep & Customer SupportHandle initial incoming calls from representatives and customersRespond to routine questions and requestsGather as much information as possible from leads to prepare RepsRoute technical or sales-specific inquiries when neededSend standard literature and documentsTrade Show CoordinationCoordinate all company trade show activities and logisticsRegister for trade shows and manage event deadlinesArrange booth servicesCoordinate travel and hotel arrangementsPrepare trade show materials and palletsCoordinate outbound and return freight for trade showsMarketing SupportAssist with marketing initiatives and promotional effortsCoordinate marketing materials and literatureSupport presentations and product demonstrationsAssist with sample coordination and distributionGather competitive and market intelligenceApproval CoordinationPrepare and submit DOT, city, private and state approval formsTrack application and approval statusesMaintain supporting documentation recordsOther ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and CoordinationLunch and learn set upSales MeetingsRetreatsTravel, hotels and Dinner EventsBoard meetingsImportant visitor meetingsAssist convention and other schedulingMaintain presidential calendarFront Office & Reception (initially)Answer and route incoming phone callsGreet visitors and direct them appropriatelyCollect caller information and direct inquiries to the appropriate sales representative or departmentRespond to standard product and lead-time questionsProvide non-pricing product informationOutbound Shipping CoordinationArrange shipments for completed ordersSchedule freight pickups using company shipping portalsGenerate Bills of Lading (BOLs)Coordinate deliveries to representatives, customers, and distributors
