Specialist, Human Resources

The Specialist, Human Resources supports NACHC's People and Culture operations by administering HR programs, policies, systems, and processes while serving as a responsive and trusted resource to employees and managers. This position supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, employee relations support, and talent development initiatives. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring that HR processes are executed accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner and contributes to an exceptional employee experience. The position works collaboratively across the organization and supports continuous improvement of HR programs, systems, and processes aligned with NACHC's strategic priorities and commitment to being an Employer of Choice.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive experience working in Human Resources or a related field (can include internship experience).
• Working knowledge of human resources practices, employee lifecycle processes, and employment policies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on commitments.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify problems, exercise sound judgment, and recommend or implement solutions.
• 10% annual local travel to engagement events and conferences.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a high-performing HR team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with HRIS and other HR technology platforms is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and electronic document management systems.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize new HR technology and systems.
• Experience with HR reporting, spreadsheets, and data analysis preferred.
