Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call | Multiple schedule options available (36/36, 36/48, and 48/48)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an intermediate care/step-down unit setting, managing a patient population requiring close monitoring and clinical intervention.
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care, contributing to the development of future nursing professionals.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes and patient status fluctuations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient assessments, care planning, and transitions of care.
• Complete required orientation modules electronically; orientation is expected to begin on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs).

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• AHA BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted certifying body for BLS or ACLS; no other forms will meet compliance requirements.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be accepted.
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts are allowed — failure of the second attempt results in automatic cancellation.
• Must be available and committed to completing a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start, with flexibility to return to the lab a second time if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AHA ACLS certification preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
