Additionally, it is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative subspecialty care to children of eastern North Carolina, to advance scientific knowledge through basic and clinical research, and to provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region.Primary Purpose of Position - Temp Hire Trainee NP for TEDIBEARCAC: Approximately 10 hours/week – onsite at MOCACOR TBCAC 1 day/week April through end of December Attend training for medical CME Rostering Shadow TEDIBEAR medical providers at TEDIBEARCACMinimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience - Graduation from a physician assistant program approved by the N.C. Board of Medical Examiners and "approved to practice medical acts" based on education and experience by the Board of Medical Examiners and two years of experience in the specialty area of assignment; or licensed as a registered nurse by the Board of Nursing and graduation from a nurse practitioner program approved by the N.C. Joint Subcommittee, and two years of experience in the specialty area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
