Step into a dynamic educational environment as a part-time School Psychologist, working closely with students and dedicated case managers. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact while enjoying a flexible two-day-per-week schedule. The assignment begins August 24th and runs through June 2nd, providing meaningful work throughout the school year.

In this vital role, you’ll conduct cognitive evaluation testing, compile summary reports, and collaborate with a team managing a caseload of approximately 80 students split among five case managers. Your insights and assessments will help shape appropriate interventions and educational strategies, supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience within educational settings conducting assessments, cognitive testing, and summary reporting.
• Strong knowledge of special education processes, IEPs, and federal guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and case managers.
• Organizational abilities to manage documentation and timelines.
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret cognitive evaluation assessments for referred students.
• Create thorough, timely summary reports to assist in educational planning.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including case managers and special education staff.
• Consult with teachers and families regarding student needs and strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with relevant regulations.
