Veterinary Technician Opportunity at Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialty Practice Join our team at Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialty Practice in St Louis Park, where you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art clinic specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in small animals. We are seeking a full-time licensed veterinary technician to assist with exams, in-hospital patient care, anesthesia, and surgical procedures. This exciting role involves managing referral medical and surgical diseases of the eye for dogs and cats. With a schedule of 6:45am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday and 6:45am-12pm on Fridays, you can enjoy a work-life balance with no after-hours work or weekends required. Daily Responsibilities: Assist with exams, in-hospital patient care, anesthesia, and surgical procedures Manage referral medical and surgical diseases of the eye for dogs and cats Provide top-tier care for animal eye health Collaborate with the dedicated team to deliver exceptional service Ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently Required Skills: Veterinary Technician Client Education Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring IV Catheterization Blood draws Intubation Anesthesia Recovery Hospital Patient care Limited Lab work Case follow through with client communications and medical record Ability to learn ERG testing and Ocular Ultrasound exams Company Information: Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialty Practice is a new state-of-the-art clinic located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in small animals.
