Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology and infrastructure projects supporting transportation systems. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in cross-functional environments, enjoys managing multi-phase initiatives, and can partner with both technical teams and external stakeholders. This role is 100% remote and will work CST hours

Key Responsibilities

• Lead one or more project teams to successfully deliver assigned programs on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Own the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Manage project financials, schedules, risks, and quality measures.
• Define and maintain project scope aligned with contractual requirements, including change management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks through proactive planning.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and track team progress.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, testing, and business teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining collaborative relationships.
• Conduct client meetings, provide project updates, and ensure alignment on deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Traffic, Civil, Transportation, or Electrical) or Computer Science is required.

Experience: Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivering all phases of an IT project. This includes 5+ years of Intelligent Transportation Systems experience, 3+ years with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Operation Management methodology, and 2+ years working in an Agile development environment.

Certifications: A PMP certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) or infrastructure-related technology projects.
• Experience supporting proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts.
• Familiarity with ITIL or operational management frameworks.
• A Scrum certification (CSM).
• Technical background or familiarity with software development and system integrations.
