Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Compensation: @ $90,000, depending on experience

Lola Products is a fast-growing, family-owned company based in Hackensack, New Jersey. We are looking for an energetic, well-rounded Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to help grow our digital marketing, content, creator, affiliate, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and all our e-commerce efforts.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Hackensack, NJ. This is not a remote or hybrid role.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with minimum 5 years direct experience in this type of position, who understands social media, content, UGC-style video, influencer and affiliate marketing, TikTok Shop, Amazon marketplace selling, and the broader e-commerce ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable moving between ideas, coordination, and hands-on execution. Depending on the project, this person may create ideas for others to execute, help execute ideas from the team or outside agencies, or develop and execute their own ideas from start to finish.

This role is focused on organic social media, content (for products and marketing), creators, affiliates, marketplace growth, AI-assisted marketing, and e-commerce support. Paid Search such as Google/Bing Ads, Display, Amazon paid ads, and SEM experience are not required but a bonus .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support social media posting, engagement, trends, and content planning
• Create, coordinate, and support UGC-style content for social media, e-commerce, and marketplace channels
• Support TikTok Shop growth, including affiliate and creator recruitment
• Conduct Influencer and Affiliate outreach, communication, and relationship management
• Support Amazon marketplace activity and understand the Amazon seller ecosystem (and other 3rd party marketplaces)
• Use AI tools to improve marketing workflows, content development, research, optimization, reporting, and campaign ideas
• Help develop creative marketing concepts and bring them to life through hands-on execution, internal collaboration, or outside agency coordination
• Support Email Marketing using Mailchimp or similar platforms
• Assist with Shopify & BigCommerce website updates, including basic product and content changes
• Apply basic SEO, AI search optimization, and content optimization best practices
• Organize content, assets, files, calendars, and basic reports

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and social media trends
• Experience with TikTok Shop, creator programs, affiliate marketing, or influencer outreach
• Knowledge of UGC content and short-form video
• Understanding of Amazon as a seller platform
• Familiarity with Shopify, BigCommerce, Mailchimp, SEO, and AI marketing tools
• Comfortable using AI throughout marketing for content, research, planning, optimization, and productivity
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and general office software plus experience and/or the ability to quickly learn utilize ecommerce marketplace sync software
• Organized, hands-on, collaborative, and able to work independently

• Shooting video with an iPhone
• Basic video editing
• Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar content apps
• Product photography or short-form video production
• Paid advertising marketing
• Experience with consumer products, household goods, or marketplace selling
