Auburn, Washington, United States Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our Systems Sales team! This position will provide a vital communication and sales link between our customers and our company to ensure continuing customer satisfaction. Each Systems Sales Representative will have a defined territory that becomes his or her area of responsibility, and will be responsible for all customers within that area. The role also requires excellent customer service and communication skills, an aptitude for analyzing and solving problems, and the ability to multi‑task with strong organizational skills. Raymond West is committed to providing end‑to‑end warehouse solutions. We offer expertise in lift trucks, racking, conveyors, docks and doors, rentals, parts, and service, delivering the right supply‑chain solutions to keep businesses running. Duties and Responsibilities Strive for professionalism, observing and complying with all company regulations and policies. Represent the company loyally, faithfully, with honesty and integrity. Sell the products and services within established company prices and policies. Maintain accurate and current customer profiles on all accounts. Maintain an accurate database for each account in the territory and keep an updated equipment master. Work to achieve satisfactory sales volume and gross profit for the company, with performance and results expected to improve year over year. Required Skills and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Maintain effective working relationships with employees, co‑workers, and managers in other departments. Willing to work off‑hours as needed and take on additional responsibilities. Maintain alertness and work safely in a consistent manner. Present solutions professionally, one‑on‑one and in boardroom environments. Maintain a mature, responsible appearance. Communicate effectively with customer representatives at all levels. Communicate with all departments within the organization. Create written proposals and update spreadsheets. Plan appointments and adapt to changes as required. Possess forklift operation knowledge and ability. Maintain systematic planning and accountability records. Work independently under minimal supervision while responding to rapidly changing requirements. Comply with the Employee Handbook. Continuously learn new products and policies. Work with people directly, by telephone, and through written correspondence efficiently and with a good appearance. Self‑confident and able to work with minimum supervision. Good attendance record. Maintain a professional attitude in all matters. Adapt quickly and perform accurately and neatly with a degree of flexibility. Use company property responsibly. Education and Experience Minimum education and experience: Determined by position. Options include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or technical school; two years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel Requirement Local travel to customer locations and other Raymond West offices is expected daily. Must be able to be insured by Raymond West. Physical Requirements The work environment is non‑sedentary, described as outside or field sales. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Pay Range Salary range is $100,000 base plus commission. Compensation is influenced by relevant experience, education, and work location. Qualified candidates must pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
