Mainframe Development and Deployment Tools Engineer

Development Toolchain & DevOps Enablement Design and maintain mainframe development toolchains supporting: COBOL, PL/I, JCL, and related technologies Enable and support: Source control integration Promote adoption of DevOps practices for mainframe development Build & Deployment Automation Develop and maintain automated build and deployment processes Implement tools and pipelines for: Code compilation Packaging Automate release management processes to: Reduce manual effort Increase reliability and consistency Deployment Frameworks & Tools Support Administer and support enterprise deployment tools such as: ChangeMan ISPW Manage: Manage and support: Development, test, and production environments Ensure consistency and integrity across environments Coordinate deployments with: Application teams QA Operations Automation & Integration REXX, CLIST, JCL, scripting tools Integrate mainframe toolchains with: Distributed DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, etc. – when applicable) One of the benefits of Kyndryl is that we work with clients in a variety of industries, from banking to retail.
