Warehouse AssociateGoodwill Columbus is hiring Warehouse Associates to help sort, prepare, and move donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, and take pride in working as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.What You'll DoThis position also will ride along from various Goodwill Retail sites helping to pick up and drop off items in a Goodwill Box TruckSort, organize, and prepare donated items for processing and shipmentLoad textiles and materials into production equipmentMove, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouseAssist with packaging and shipment preparationKeep work areas clean, safe, and organizedFollow safety, attendance, and performance standardsPerform other warehouse duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious warehouse or production experience is helpful, but not requiredWe welcome candidates who are willing to learnPhysical RequirementsRegular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and graspingAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to perform repetitive movements throughout the shiftComfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise and changing temperaturesWork EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse settingExposure to varying temperatures and weather conditionsWork around warehouse equipment and moving materials
