Sr Financial Analyst - Capital Operations

Job Summary Comcast Capital California is looking for a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to become a champion of our capital planning, analysis, and operations. This is your chance to make a real impact, managing capital projects supporting fiber construction builds from end-to-end. Core Responsibilities Own capital budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for fiber construction projects across the California portfolio. Partner with Construction, Engineering, and Business Development teams to evaluate project financials and track spend against plan. Conduct financial research, analyze financial performance against objectives, and determine emerging financial trends. Provide clear, actionable insights on risks, opportunities, and performance to leadership. Develop and maintain financial models, including scenario analysis and long‑range capital planning. Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility. Support business case development and capital investment. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in addressing complex, high‑impact business decisions. Support additional business operations initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed. Additional Requirements Proactive Problem‑solving: Anticipate challenges across capital projects and drive practical solutions. AI Knowledge: Experience with AI tools and techniques for data analysis and decision‑making preferred. Strategic Relationship Building: Collaborate with stakeholders across Construction, Engineering, Sales, and Business Development to drive alignment and results. Attention to Detail: Deliver high‑quality work with strong accuracy and organization. Reliable Teamwork: Maintain a strong work ethic, exceptional punctuality, and a commitment to collaborative success within the team. Technical Proficiency: Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to leverage the full capabilities of the Office 365 Suite. Analytical Toolkit: Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Oracle Hyperion, PowerPoint. Education Bachelor's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. Certifications Relevant certifications (if applicable). Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years. Compensation Primary Location Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $92,678.92 – $123,571.89 USD.
