Academic Tutor and Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support in core subjects. You will build positive relationships with students, assist teachers in the classroom, and track student progress to promote academic growth and social-emotional development. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll model positive behavior, support attendance and engagement initiatives, and participate in ongoing training. This role offers meaningful impact, professional development, and a collaborative, equity-focused environment.
