Position: Hematology / Oncology Physician | Eastern North Carolina

Start Date: ASAP

Available Shifts: 4.5 Day Work Week

Compensation: $400,000 - $725,000

We are actively seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to become part of a prominent multi-specialty healthcare organization located in eastern North Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is expanding due to rising patient demand, market needs, and the retirement of existing physicians. You will collaborate in a supportive environment with two other Hematology/Oncology specialists and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Our organization stands as the largest private medical-surgical multi-specialty practice in the region, established in 1965, and dedicated to delivering personalized, comprehensive, and patient-centered care. The practice is well-regarded for its Hematology/Oncology services, attracting patients from across North Carolina to its Cancer Center.

• Established Cancer Center with a dedicated Hem/Onc department featuring 12 chemotherapy bays and an in-house lab.
• Primarily outpatient care with a light inpatient census, focusing on consultative services; admissions and ongoing care managed by hospitalists.
• Guaranteed base salary for the first two years.
• Shareholders retain 100% of profits after the initial period.
• Shareholder earnings range from $500K to $800K.
• Manageable patient volumes supported by a strong staff.
• Focus on adult patients only; no pediatric cases.
• Robust referral network with excellent relationships with local breast and general surgeons.
• Practice covers insurance premiums.
• 401k, Profit Sharing Plan, and Health Savings Account (HSA) options available.

• Must be eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Board-eligible or certified in Hematology/Oncology.
• Medical degree is required.
