Veterinary Technician Specialty Surgery

VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to add to our Specialty Surgery team!

Location: 3901 Sierra College Blvd, Loomis, CA 95650

Compensation : $ 28 - $ 38 / hr

Dependent experience, education, and credentials.

Schedule : FT 4/10's

VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician for Daytime Emergency. Previous emergency experience preferred.

This shift is often bustling due to multiple departments servicing patients. You will be responsible for partnering with our front desk team to help keep owners informed of their pets' status and coordinating patient care with other departments when necessary. It is essential that the selected candidate takes initiative on patient treatments, asks for help when unsure, and communicates with clients and team members in a healthy and considerate manner. We aim to promote a team in which it's okay to not know and where mistakes are opportunities for growth and learning. Veterinary medicine is hard - we do what we can to make it rewarding, fun, and meaningful.

Requirements:

• Current RVT in CA or transferrable CrVT from another state.
• Experience in ER/ICU/CCU
• Experience in specialty hybrid veterinary hospital
