Pay Package (Travel)

• Weekly Gross: $2,306.00
• Weekly Taxable: $612.00
• Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,694.00

Local Pay Rate

• $53.00/hour (within 75 miles of facility; locals preferred)

Schedule

• Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• Every other weekend (2 weekends/month)
• No block scheduling
• No call required
• First week (orientation + precepting shift) on day shift

Facility Overview
John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center in Chicago, IL. ICU RNs float between multiple ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU . May also be asked to float to Med/Surg units to support staffing as needed.

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Illinois RN License in hand at submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Cook County is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY — ICU RNs float across all ICU units; refusal may result in contract cancellation

• All RTO must be submitted at time of upload — max 5 days, no more than 2 consecutive; no weekend, holiday, or pre/post-holiday RTO

• Care of ventilated patients
• ETT and NT suctioning
• ABG interpretation
• Arterial line management
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Preferred Skills

• EndoTool (insulin management system)

Required Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience
