Looking for a general practice where you can practice quality medicine, have a schedule that leaves room for life outside the hospital, and work with a team that genuinely supports your growth?

DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Chicago metro area. This opportunity offers a diverse general practice caseload, collaborative veterinary support, mentorship, and flexibility for doctors at different stages of their careers.

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to explore the opportunity.

• Wellness and preventive medicine
• General medical care
• Diagnostic workups and case management
• Routine surgery
• Dentistry
• Same-day sick visits

• Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff

You’ll have the opportunity to continue developing your medical and surgical skills while building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

• Flexible scheduling
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Paid time off
• Continuing education support
• Professional dues and licensing support
• 401(k)

Why This One Is Worth a Conversation

This opportunity brings together a broad GP caseload, schedule flexibility, mentorship, and an experienced team in one of the country’s largest veterinary markets.

For a newer DVM, there is support to continue building confidence across medicine and surgery. For an experienced veterinarian, there is room to bring established skills while maintaining the autonomy and quality of life that can matter just as much as compensation.

DVM Focus will walk you through the practice, schedule, compensation structure, team, and expectations before an introduction is made so you can decide whether the opportunity actually aligns with what you want.
