ERP Implementation Specialist

We are currently looking for an Implementation Specialist to be based out of the Chicago area.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Understand client's business operations and how they can best use Prophet’s ERP software.

• Interpret client needs; configure and implement software solutions to agreed upon, pre-defined blueprint.

• Assist clients in preparing pre-live simulations and testing.

• Adhere to specific project plans and deadlines.

• Liaise with software development team to progress customer-specific modifications.

• Deliver end-user training and train others as needed.

• Complete comprehensive documentation to highest standard including configuration specifications, customer specific process guides and training documentation.

• Support clients through the go-live process.

• Travel to client sites throughout North America; Travel up to 40% of total time.

MUST HAVE:

• Excellent customer communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to interpret and understand relational data.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with ERP software and/or software design and analysis.

• Prophet ERP knowledge.

• SQL query writing experience.

• Understanding of programming languages e.g. VBScript.

• Agile project management methodology.

• Knowledge of accounting.

• Experience with Microsoft Visio.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.

• Entry to mid-level.
