General Summary Under the direction of the Sterile Reprocessing Manager and in collaboration with the System Director of Sterile Reprocessing, SPD/HLD Nurse Educators, and Infection Prevention, plans, implements, and evaluates educational and quality improvement activities in departments that perform sterile reprocessing and high level disinfection. Education/Experience Required Graduate of Sterile Reprocessing College Course or Sterile Reprocessing Military experience preferred. Equivalent of five (5) years of surgical reprocessing experience required. Broad computer skills including Microsoft Software (Word, PowerPoint) required. Experience with SPM (instrument tracking system) preferred. Certifications/Licensures Required Certified Surgical Reprocessing Technician required.
