Urology Physician

Locums Urology Marshfield, WI (any state license accepted) Why This Role

• Ongoing 2-3 weeks per month commitment
• Open to any state license
• Strong APP team: 5 PA/NPs in clinic
• Predictable clinic-heavy practice (60% clinic, 30% procedures, 10% hospital)
• Board-eligible accepted
• Robotic surgery experience required
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP, ongoing
• Schedule: Clinic 8a-5p (may need earlier start for surgery)
• Commitment: 2-3 weeks per month
• Call: Beeper, 15-min response, 1:2 or 1:3 ratio
• Setting: Inpatient + outpatient, Level 2 trauma
• Volume: 16-20 patients/shift
• Practice split: 60% clinic, 30% procedures/surgeries, 10% hospital
• Support: 5 APPs (supervision required), 1 RN, 4 MAs, 1 office staff
• Equipment: x-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, TRUS
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 60 days
• Nearest airport: Central Wisconsin (CWA)
• Children's hospital location - must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion and some pediatric urology ED patients
Clinical Details
• General urology - clinic, procedures, and call
• Typical procedures: cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder installation
• Required scope: general adult urology, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures
• Required pediatric scope: pediatric testicular torsion and select pediatric urology ED presentations
• Preferred: advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, partial nephrectomy with intraoperative US, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder US (with biopsy), ESWL
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• License: any state accepted (WI obtained during credentialing via Act 10)
• BLS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
