Service Manager – Recreational VehicleIf you are driven to help people, passionate about customer service, and ready to lead a successful service team, then this opportunity is for you.Houston largest RV dealership is searching for a results oriented Service Manager who is motivated to excel and serious about a true career in this highly competitive industry.As Service Manager, our customers, and your team, will look to you for guidance, leadership and expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement: Conduct daily one-on-one client status meetings with each advisor to identify potential service issues.Objective Setting: Collaborate with the service director to set departmental objectives.Staff Management: Recruit, interview, and train service staff.Performance Tracking: Maintain daily sales and production records as prescribed by upper management.Performance Review: Review and evaluate service sales performance.Team Staffing: Staff technical teams according to production requirements.Product Knowledge: Stay current on new products and changes to existing products.Financial Management: Maintain department finances within parameters established by upper management.Productivity Optimization: Assure proper repair-order flow to maximize productivity.Warranty Compliance: Monitor and control all warranty activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Policy Adherence: Adhere to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.Payroll Administration: Administer payroll for service staff in cooperation with the payroll department.Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA requirements, procedures, and regulations.Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations.Operational Planning: Participate in operational planning.Facility Management: Maintain the facility and equipment.Team Meetings: Conduct weekly department meetings and attend weekly manager meetings.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CompensationCompensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.Benefits includeMedical and dental insurance.401K retirement savings plan with match.Vacation time up two weeks after first year of employment.Paid holidays.Company paid continuing education and training.Yearly BonusGrowth OpportunityOur company maintains a strong policy of equal employment opportunity for all associates.
