As a HomeWell caregiver, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care based on each client's individualized care plan while building meaningful relationships along the way.Depending on the client's needs and care plan, responsibilities may include:Companionship and emotional supportMeal preparation and assistance with mealsLight housekeeping and laundryShopping and errandsTransportation to appointments and outingsMedication remindersPersonal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingAssistance with walking, mobility, and transfersSupporting activities of daily livingObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionFollowing individualized care plans and company policiesWhat We're Looking For We are seeking caregivers who are:Caring, compassionate, patient, and respectfulMature, professional, reliable, and punctualDependable and committed to their clientsStrong communicatorsComfortable working independentlyAble to follow care plans and instructionsPhysically able to safely perform required dutiesQualifications & Requirements1,000 hours of caregiving experience preferred, including approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience with seniors or individuals with chronic illnessesCNA or HHA certification preferred, but not requiredExceptions may be considered for newly licensed CNAs/HHAs and companionship or housekeeping-only caregiversCurrent TB testReliable transportationValid driver's license and current auto insurance if transporting clientsAbility to safely assist with client transfersAbility to pass a criminal background checkVerifiable professional referencesEssential ResponsibilitiesFollow Care Plans:Provide services according to each client's individualized care plan and communicate changes to the office.Quality Care:Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care while promoting client dignity and independence.Communication:Promptly report changes in condition, concerns, incidents, or emergencies to the Care Manager.Safety:Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and PPE requirements when applicable.Timekeeping:Accurately clock in and out of every shift and document completed tasks using ClearCare Telephony.Professionalism:Maintain a professional appearance, follow the company dress code, and represent HomeWell positively.Reliability:Arrive on time, attend required training and meetings, and follow company policies and procedures.
