Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

SCHEDULE
Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- Current WI License
- NIHSS certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Vaccinated for Flu
- Education verification required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, as well as state laws.
- Document nursing care according to established standards.
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans according to physician orders and hospital policy.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
- Employ critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate issues appropriately.
