Position Title:

Federal Government Contract Coordinator - NASA SEWP / GWAC

Position Overview

Golden Star Technology (GST) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Federal Government Contract Coordinator to support the daily operations of our NASA SEWP contract vehicle.

This role is responsible for reviewing customer RFQs and bids, obtaining vendor pricing, and developing accurate quotes, proposals, and contract submissions for federal government customers.

The ideal candidate has experience in federal contracting, government procurement, proposal development, and inside or outside sales. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver timely, compliant, and competitive responses in a fast-paced technology and public sector sales environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities supporting GST's NASA SEWP contract vehicle.
• Review customer RFQs, RFPs, and bid requests to ensure accurate, complete, and timely responses.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing, product availability, and lead times from OEMs, distributors, and vendor partners.
• Build, price, and submit accurate quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation for federal government customers.
• Support the full quote-to-order process, including opportunity qualification, quote development, proposal submission, and order handoff.
• Ensure compliance with NASA SEWP contract requirements, federal procurement guidelines, and company policies.
• Partner with Federal Account Executives to support sales opportunities, customer requests, and business growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, contracts, finance, and sales teams to develop competitive and compliant solutions.
• Track quote activity, sales pipeline metrics, contract utilization, and proposal status.
• Maintain contract records, customer documentation, and reporting within CRM, ERP, CPQ, and quote management systems.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven inside or outside sales experience, including direct customer engagement, quote generation, proposal development, and sales cycle management.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts, procurement, or acquisition programs.
• Experience preparing and managing quotes, proposals, bids, and RFQ responses.
• Strong understanding of government purchasing processes and contract compliance requirements.
• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and vendor partners.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, procurement, contracts, finance, and vendor teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building, pricing, and submitting complex quotes and proposals for federal government customers.

• Experience supporting NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) , General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules, Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, or similar federal contract vehicles.

• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government procurement practices.
• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and vendor pricing programs.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other ERP, CRM, or quote management platforms .
• Experience in the IT, technology, government contracting, or VAR industry.
