Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through a mixture of standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Design tailored treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-term goals addressing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy support targeting areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop inclusive care strategies.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in inpatient assessments and therapy interventions as needed, maintaining seamless care throughout treatment journeys.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that complies with all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in continual learning to keep abreast of the latest field advancements and to foster peer collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within 30 days of employment.
