Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical services to patients from infancy through adolescence, including health assessments, immunizations, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Conduct preventive care consultations, providing guidance on topics such as nutrition, family planning, and mental health.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare.
• Perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, and administer vaccinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate families about health issues, preventive strategies, and available healthcare services, empowering them to make informed decisions about their children’s health.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, documenting all patient interactions and treatments provided.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs to enhance awareness of pediatric health issues.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using EHR and Practice Management Systems (PMS).

Compensation and Benefits

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner position offers competitive compensation, with a salary range of $126,000 to $150,000 annually.
