Requirements Previous dental assisting experience required Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor Willing to go the extra mile for patient care and comfort Strong social and people skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proficient at typing, charting, and using the computer Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail Self‑starter (does not need hand‑holding) Stays busy and does not need to be told what to do Strong moral compass (No lying, stealing, cheating) Applicants must be dependable and early/on‑time and ready to work Willing to go the extra mile to help doctor and fellow colleagues Experience using Open Dental a plus Spanish speaking a plus Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service for the patient Assist the doctor with dental procedures Take radiographs quickly and efficiently Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times. Help clean the office and treatment rooms including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting common areas and operatories Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully Verify patient health history, medications, and document appropriately Assist with other office duties including check‑in, check‑out, answering the phone, scheduling patients, insurance verification and eligibility confirmation, and posting payment Education & Experience High school or equivalent (Required) Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required) X‑Ray Certification (Required) Registered Dental Assistant (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Namely
