Technical Solutions Engineer - NDO

Salary: $71,000 - 137,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 1-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, or administering network protocols and related technologies.
• We require strong technical depth in several areas such as network management platforms, DevOps tooling, APIs (JSON, gRPC, curl/Postman/requests), scripting with Python or Bash, containers (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, Ansible, or KVM.
• We prefer solid foundational knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, multicast, and routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, or IGMP.
• We highly value practical experience with server virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
• We strongly prefer experience using network troubleshooting tools like Tcpdump and Wireshark.
• It is a plus to have familiarity with overlay platforms such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI, Terraform, public cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, Golang, Prometheus/Grafana, SSO technologies such as OIDC or SAML, Git, GitHub/GitLab, or Arista Validated Design.

• We provide post-sales technical support for our Arista products, with a focus on CloudVision (CVP / CVaaS).
• We respond to customer inquiries by phone or email.
• We resolve issues related to installation, operation, maintenance, product usage, and compatibility.
• We troubleshoot hardware and software problems and recommend corrective actions.
• We reproduce customer network issues in a dedicated lab when needed.
• We document customer interactions and recurring technical issues to help improve product quality and guide product development.
• We rely on strong interpersonal skills and product expertise to support customer-focused daily activities.
