Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Food Service Attendant:

• Set up and maintain hot food lines, salad bars, beverage stations, and self-service areas

• Replenish food, beverages, condiments, and supplies throughout service periods

• Monitor food presentation, freshness, and quality standards

• Provide catered-style food service and assist physicians and staff as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, dining spaces, and equipment

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

• Clean and sanitize food stations, counters, tables, and service areas

• Remove trash and assist with general housekeeping duties within the lounge

• Ensure service areas remain fully stocked and ready for use

• Deliver courteous, professional, and hospitality-focused service at all times

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and healthcare staff regarding service needs

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Previous food service, cafeteria, hospitality, catering, or customer service experience preferred

• Must have Food Handler's Certification

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Professional appearance and strong personal hygiene standards required

• Ability to interact confidently and professionally with physicians and healthcare staff

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds during the shift

• Background check and drug testing required
