Civil Engineer (entry-level)

Job Summary: SME has a new full-time position for an entry-level Civil Engineer in either our Aurora or Park Ridge, IL, office to support commercial, industrial, and residential site development projects. Our firm’s commercial projects typically include solar farms, restaurants, car washes, strip malls, churches, and mixed‑use buildings. Industrial projects include logistics facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and light industry projects. Residential projects include apartment buildings, townhouses, and high‑end single‑family homes. Your compensation and benefits package includes: Pay Range is $65,000 – $72,000 + based on experience 100% company paid Medical, Life, and Long‑term and Short‑term Disability insurance Annual contributions to an HSA (if enrolled in company‑provided health insurance plan) Paid vacation and sick time and 9 paid holidays per year Retirement plan comprising three components: a 401(k) plan with matching contribution of up to 50% of 10% of your salary; profit sharing; and a non‑discretionary 3% of gross pay contribution (all three components available after 1 year of service), and a Performance‑based year‑end bonus!
