Special Requirements Valid California Driver’s License (CDL). Applicants must provide CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions. Valid Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) Commercial Airman Certificate with rotorcraft‑helicopter rating or FAA Airline Transport Pilot’s Certificate with rotorcraft‑helicopter rating. Valid and current Class II Airman’s Medical Certificate issued by an FAA‑authorized medical examiner. Eligibility for temporary appointment (TAU). TAU appointments are made under temporary authorization and allow service in up to 9 months within any 12‑month period. Applicants must be qualified and must pass the required examination to transition to a permanent appointment. Benefits Forestry Fire Pilot (1046) Classification. Pay includes: Base Salary: $7,948 – $10,488 (paid monthly) Extended Duty Week Compensation: $2,701 – $3,564 (paid every 4 weeks) Annual Compensation: $130,489 – $172,188 Employees are eligible for medical benefits (health, dental, vision) and may receive other pay differentials. #J-18808-Ljbffr Neier Inc.
