Physician Assistant PRN or Nurse Practitioner PRN

Overview Concentra, the largest occupational health care company in the country, is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our outpatient center in Erlanger, KY within the greater Cincinnati metro on a per diem PRN basis. Shifts available to cover are Mon-Fri business hours and Saturday half days. Responsibilities Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies. Evaluates and treats Center patients in accordance with Concentra's medical model. Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift. Calls client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury and/or at any significant change in status. Calls patients to ensure their well-being as needed following center visits. In the absence of Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical personnel and center colleagues. Qualifications Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdictionDOT/FMCSA certification – active or willing to get during credentialing Must be eligible to participate in Medicare Two to five years of experience in primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency medicine setting is preferred Job-Related Skills/Competencies Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies Agrees, supports, and commits to Concentra's core practice standards and Policies and Procedures Additional Data Training Provided in Our World-Class Occupational Medicine Process Management Model Medical Malpractice Coverage with tail 401(k) with Employer Match after 1,000 hours worked on W2 This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
