Description: Data Collection: 04/06/2026 Unit Information: Open Heart Number of Beds: 457 beds; 14 ORs (1 Open Heart Room; in process of coordinating for 2 Open Hearts) Number of Staff: 8 staff members (4 RNs, 4 Techs) Type of Staff: Day shift with call coverage after 3 PM and weekend call; Night shift call coverage Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of Equipment: Standard OR equipment, EMR - Meditech Typical Procedures Performed: CABG (with and without EVH), Impellas, Pericardial windows, Valve replacements, ECMO Best Personality Fit: Dependability and flexibility Floating Areas: Operating Room Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends and on-call assistance General Comments: Position count: 1
