What You'll Do

• Provide emergency medical care in a hospital setting for approximately 110 patients in a 24-hour period
• Manage both high-acuity and lower-acuity cases, ensuring adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with local hospital staff and support personnel
• Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Maintain professional standards and compliance with facility policies
• Participate in on-call duties during scheduled night shifts, with sleep room accommodations available
• Immediately respond to patient needs, performing assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans

What You Need
Required:

• CA medical license (active)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 5 years)
• ABEM/ABEOM certification (must be certified; NO ABIM/ABFM accepted)
• Valid DEA registration

Preferred:

• Experience in a hospital emergency department setting
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
