Travel Registered Nurse Post Surgical Job

Overview Registered Nurse - Post Surgical, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date 06/16/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,305-$2,458 per week with guaranteed 38 hours. Shift is 4x10 rotating. Work setting: Day Surgery Unit supporting Pre-op and Post-op Phase II procedures. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Pre-op and Post-op Phase II within the Day Surgery Unit
• Monitor vitals, administer IV infusions (non-chemo) and medications per plan of care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinical staff to maintain ANA standards of professional nursing practice
• Document care in the EMR; participate in an EMR transition from Meditech to Epic during the assignment
• Manage equipment, IV lines, pain management, and discharge instructions
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotations as required

Requirements

• Colorado RN license in good standing; graduate of an accredited RN program
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in Day Surgery/Procedure/IV Infusion; PACU/CCU experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association with current cards prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience; ability to adapt to an EMR conversion during the assignment
• Availability to work evening/weekend call rotations
• Travel assignment requires distance eligibility (per 75 miles from the assignment location)
