Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, according to established menus and recipes

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and budgeting

• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure meal service is efficient and effective

• Participate in menu planning and nutritional care planning with the culinary team

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, storage, and disposal

• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations

Requirements:

• 0+ years of experience in food preparation and service, preferably in a healthcare setting

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
