Location: Highland Park Hospital, 777 Park Avenue West, Highland Park, IL 60035 Qualifications IL RN License BLS Certification ASN Degree New Graduates Welcome! Unit: Surgical Telemetry Shift: Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am (FT, 36 hrs/wk) Pay Scale: Starts at $34.75 for new graduates, increases based on experience. Patient Population: Urology, bariatric, & general surgical patients such as lap chole, lap appy, thyroid, and colostomy. Common Diagnoses: Aquablation, Cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, & Post liposuction. Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 6 Admits per day: 2 to 3 on average Number of Beds: 28 Responsibilities Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for designated patient population. Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
