Job Title: Travel RN OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Wednesday - Friday Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in Operating Room License: RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: General/Trauma OR skills Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience must be present Description: Travel RN position in the Operating Room. Work schedule is from 07:00 to 19:00. Position requires working three days a week and one weekend a month. Unit consists of 7 OR suites. Staff includes RNs, surgical techs, and ancillary support staff. Typical patient ratios are estimated at 1:1. Experience in the Operating Room is essential. Candidates with Labor & Delivery experience will not be considered. Skills in neuro and ortho/spine procedures are required. Trauma center experience is preferred, as well as experience in orthopedic procedures. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology surgeries. Ideal candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. Dress code requires change into hospital-provided scrubs each day. Call requirements are approximately 10 days a month, with some variations for specific positions.
