If you're passionate about quality and take pride in ensuring critical components meet the highest standards, we'd like to hear from you.POSITION SUMMARY: The warehouse associate is accountable, under direct supervision, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities to complete full cycle of shipping, stock put away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.Pick, pack, and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.Utilize ERP system to process customer orders.Know and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).Keep warehouse manager informed of operations.Strong sense of time organization and urgency.Attention to detail is REQUIRED.Count and record material to ensure accuracyUtilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/ customer specificationsUtilize label printer to prepare labels as requiredReturn remaining product to proper locationAccurately count, package, and label per warehouse/ customer requirementsAccurately package and prepare material for shipmentUtilize freight companies, UPS and Fedex to ship product to include preparing Bill of Lading's.Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. As well as varies power tools to build shipping crates.Meet established standards for quality and productivityMaintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Three to five years general warehousing and shipping experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards required.Work well in a team environment required.Detailed oriented and perform basic research if required.Nearest Major Market: Evansville
