Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a SAP BASIS Specialist to join their team. As a SAP BASIS Specialist, you will be part of the IT Department supporting enterprise-wide SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Range: starting from $60.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Provide technical and architecture design support for enterprise SAP solutions including ECC, CRM, BW, BOBJ, PO, Fiori, S/4HANA, and more.
• Administer and support SAP ecosystem, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate SAP system installs, upgrades, patches, backups, and restorations, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a stable, scalable, and reliable enterprise environment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and inventories for SAP system administration.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of five (5) years experience as SAP BASIS administrator supporting SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks.
• Experience supporting at least two major SAP Cloud go-live implementations or upgrade projects, including S/4HANA migration.
• Proficiency with SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition deployed in Azure).
• Strong knowledge of SAP system design, configuration, and functionality in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows, and AIX operating systems, as well as SAP solutions like ECC6, BW, CRM, BOBJ, and SAP BTP.
