Quality Engineer III

Automated Tester / QA EngineerLocation: Cincinnati, OH – Onsite Duration: 4+ monthsResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and modern automation tools.Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and data solutions.Perform API and Web Services testing using SOAP, XML, SOAP UI, and REST services.Develop BDD test scenarios and step definitions using Cucumber/Gherkin.Build Selenium automation frameworks using JUnit/TestNG and Maven.Configure and execute automated regression suites through Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.Perform data validation and testing for Java/Python APIs, Kafka, and Big Data solutions.Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests.Work closely with developers, business teams, and other QA engineers in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.Troubleshoot defects and provide technical direction throughout the development and testing lifecycle.Required Experience3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver/Grid.Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript.Strong knowledge of Cucumber, BDD, Gherkin, JUnit/TestNG, and Maven.Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.Experience testing APIs, web services, and data pipelines.Knowledge of Kafka and Big Data technologies.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Banking or Capital Markets experience is preferred.
