How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed part time position within a busy, well-respected emergency department, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established team of 7 physicians and 3 APPs

• Call structure: Backup Rotation

• Practice setting: Emergency Department

• Access to support staff, 24/7 emergency care, accredited geriatric emergency care, admission (when needed) to Wamego Health Center, on-site full-service digital imaging, on-site lab, private treatment rooms

• Employed position within a nonprofit health system

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

• Provide timely, high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage acute illness and injuries

• Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers where higher levels of care are required

• Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
