Summer School Nurse Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with school-based experience to work in a vibrant K-12 setting this summer! This contract position runs throughout July, offering mornings Monday through Thursday (8am-12pm) in the Penacook, NH area. Support students and staff while making use of your clinical expertise in a positive educational environment during summer programming.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatrics
• Familiarity with the health needs of K-12 students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a summer program environment
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff, including first aid and medication administration
• Manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes or asthma, and implement healthcare plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student well-being
• Respond to health-related emergencies and coordinate appropriate care or referrals
