About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our busy on-site healthcare call center team. In this role, you will serve as the critical first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive compassionate, efficient, and accurate assistance with their healthcare scheduling needs. This is a fast-paced environment perfect for an adept multitasker who thrives on helping others. Key Responsibilities High-Volume Patient Support: Manage a busy queue of 65+ inbound and outbound patient calls daily while maintaining a positive, professional, and empathetic demeanor. Appointment Scheduling: Utilize Epic electronic health record (EHR) software to accurately schedule, modify, and confirm outpatient appointments. System Navigation: Multitask seamlessly across multiple digital platforms simultaneously to retrieve patient records, communicate with internal teams, and document interactions. Issue Resolution: Answer patient inquiries, provide necessary appointment instructions, and route complex clinical questions to the appropriate medical staff. Required Qualifications & Skills Epic Experience: Prior hands-on experience with Epic scheduling software is strictly required. Customer Service Excellence: A background in customer service, with a proven ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude. Technical Proficiency: Ability to confidently navigate and multitask across multiple software systems concurrently, specifically Epic, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and OnBase. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a attention to detail. Reliability: Must be able to commit to the Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on-site schedule in St. Louis.
