Full-Time Behavioral Health SupervisorPromises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Supervisor!This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.While you may work primarily with a specific facility or brand, you will be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees and strengthening the communities we serve.The Behavioral Health Supervisor provides supervision of around-the-clock Behavioral Health staff performing daily client activities in a large residential treatment facility, or for multiple smaller facilities. The Behavioral Health Supervisor is responsible for oversight, monitoring, and tracking of services for clients and daily BH staff program responsibilities. They help to manage staff that support clinical and treatment goals and maintain a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment that encourages and supports clients in their recovery. The position will be a four 10 hour days, from Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7a.m.-5p.m. alternating every two weeks to 11 a.m.-9 p.m. shift.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesWith oversight from the Behavioral Health Director, maintains staff schedules, manage time, and review/approve time cards, etc.Complete and post weekly staff schedules and coordinate coverage.Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Director to conduct performance reviews and complete performance review documents.Perform reviews and quality assurance checks for residential facilities to ensure documentation accuracy, cleanliness of grounds, and feedback to appropriate staff members and departments.Under supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, provides coaching as appropriate to Behavioral Health staff on all levels.When applicable, makes recommendations for disciplinary actions to Behavioral Health Director and Human Resources Representative.Participate in interviews, onboarding, orientation, training, and monitoring ongoing performance of assigned staff.As requested by the Behavioral Health Director, attend, and participate in local leadership meetings.Responsible for maintaining documentation of staff training.As requested by the Behavioral Health Director, collaborate with Human Resources team on staffing related activities.Assist Behavioral Health Director and acts as liaison between assigned Behavioral Health staff and other staff.Coordinate outside appointments and meetings for clients.Collaborate and support the clinical and medical team and other staff and departments.Can and may perform all Behavioral Health staff job duties as well as coordinate all daily responsibilities and shift functions as needed for coverage.Available for alternate, evening, overnight, and weekend schedules/shifts that may be required to meet client needs, state, and regulatory agency requirements and business necessity.Responsible for order and stocking client supplies (i.e., literature and basic hygiene products), following the appropriate review and approval by the Behavioral Health Manager.Responsible for coordinating and delegating client transportation, store runs, outings, and off-campus meetings.Responsible for oversight and quality assurance of assigned BH team members' documentation.Any other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesArticulates ideas and instructions in a clear and concise manner.Actively sets priorities and makes critical decisions in a timely manner.Runs effective meetings; starts/stops on time, maintains focus on topic.Values, respects and is open to others' point of view; encourages dialogue and candor; makes it safe for others to voice their opinion.Manages conflict; builds common ground, focuses on the positive and seeks constructive outcomes.Tracks, monitors, and documents employee performance; actively encourages goal setting.Provides timely, effective, and constructive feedback; creates an environment where employees and others feel valued and appreciated.Ability to see the big picture by thinking conceptually, imaginatively, and systematically.Readily adapts to change and adjusts when needed; helps others overcome resistance to change an actively encourages and supports new ideas.Exhibits knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, federal and state regulatory requirements; initiates appropriate follow-up when concerns are identified.Ensures appropriate staffing levels and actively participates in recruitment activities to seek out qualified candidates
