How you'll make an impact in this role

• As a Nurse Assistant Student, you will assist professional staff in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our residents. Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, and bedmaking.
• Practice safe transferring, lifting, turning, and positioning of residents using appropriate devices.
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and track resident weights or intake/output.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding, recording oral intake, and completing meal assessment sheets.
• Prepare rooms for new admissions, assist with discharges, and clean medical equipment to maintain a clutter-free environment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• H.S Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience:

• Enrolled in current CNA Program required.
• Experience working in health related field or service industry preferred
